Online Learning Platform — TechSkillsHub

TechSkillsHub had 4,000 enrolled learners but a 31% course completion rate — industry benchmark is 40-60%. They were processing course payments via manual bank transfers, spending 12+ hours per week on enrollment admin. Their existing Moodle-based platform felt dated and mobile usage had dropped to 8% despite 60% of their traffic being mobile.

The Approach

We analyzed drop-off points across 20 course modules using LMS analytics. The data showed students consistently abandoned at week 3 of every course — not because the content was poor, but because the interface was confusing and progress tracking was invisible. We recommended migrating to WordPress + LearnDash, not because it’s the industry default, but because it offered the best combination of UX customization and payment gateway flexibility.

The Solution

We rebuilt the entire learning experience with Elementor Pro custom templates for every LearnDash component — lesson pages, quizzes, certificate generation, and student dashboards. We implemented a gamification layer with progress milestones, peer cohort visibility, and automated encouragement emails triggered at specific completion percentages. Payment was unified through WooCommerce + Stripe with automatic enrollment on purchase.

Results

Course completion rate increased from 31% to 67% within 2 cohorts. Mobile usage increased to 54% of all sessions. Payment admin time dropped from 12 hours to under 1 hour per week. Average course rating improved from 3.8 to 4.6 stars.

“The completion rate improvement alone paid for the entire project within the first intake. Fasih understood that we weren’t just building a website — we were building a learning environment. That distinction made all the difference.”
